Pretendolino- Loco Hauled Set
 

Good Evening, could anyone tell me if the Pretendolino set will be in operation from Thursday 2nd June until Saturday 4th June. I know it works the FO Euston to Preston(?) but am unsure of the departure time from Euston. I'm also wondering if it will be working any other services. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The Pretenolino worked into Manchester Piccadilli at 12.25 on Saturday 21st May hauled by 90046 + 9 coaches +DVT.

Oooh thanks. Do you know if this was a regular service or a Private Charter?

Hi Dan, I gathered from the other spotters that it was a regular service. It is a long way to go from Plymouth though! I used to travel North by Megabus but Stagecoach has withdrawn the service from Paignton & Torquay as of 21st May.

Oh right, I'm going to london on holiday from Thursday until Saturday and I'm hoping to see as much as possible. I've never seen the MK3 set before. I think I'll just go to Euston on Friday evening and hope for the best!

Didn't realise just popular the 'pretendolino' set and haulage was!

The set is usually the WB64 MK3's and DVT with a 90 on the front out of London at lot of the time it works to Birmingham but occasionally all the way to Scotland or at least Carlisle

on a lot of the GEN forums you can track it as it goes North then South on the days it does run
