Hi Phil,

Thanks for watching and commenting.

Yes, the Tornado is too good a loco to be written off on the buffers.
Luckily no trains were harmed in the making of this movie.
:)

Hi Rob, I have had Railworks for a few months now. Did all the registering etc, but have never been able to get it to work on my Windows XP system. I did enjoy your short film.

Hi D.S.

Thanks for watching.

Sorry to hear you havent got Railworks to work on XP yet. I'm also running Railworks on XP (non-Steam version). I have a low spec PC (2ghz single core, 1.5gb ram. Geforce 5900XT video card. I finally got Railworks to run on XP. First I installed these:-
Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 SP1
DirectX 9.0c (update it anyway, even if you already have "C" installed).
AGEIA PhysX v6.10.25

I then restarted my PC but Railworks still didnt run. So I went into the game folder and clicked the .exe file and the game ran (sometimes Railworks wont run from the desktop shortcut for some reason).

The other issue of course is that your graphics card needs to be supported.
You can check your graphics card Pixel Shader support here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pixel_shader

"If your card does support Pixel Shader 2.0, ensure you have the very latest graphics drivers".

Hope this info gets you going.

Rob

That's quite spooky footage you've achieved, with hint of Hitchcock thrown in.
