That was fun
 

I had a great return journey today. I was ona local trip down to Stockport, one of the reasons being that I wanted to see what was in place for egnineering works between Stockport and Sheffield (only 3 weeks away now :) ). Anyway, because of the works Central Trains services are starting at Stockport making use of platform 3A. I decided to board one in the station around 15 minutes early, so I was the only one on the train whh was fun. But, at 12:20 (departure 12:26) I walked down the train and was still the only one. A few minutes later the condictor maid the announcement "this is the train to....", and Im thinking Im the only one of the train your announcing it to :) (the guard had previously seen me onboard, also have to say how nice he was).

Then the train departed with me as the only passenger in the coach. I would have had a laugh if I had the entire train to myself, I went into the other coach (2 car 170) and there were 2 passengers in there. But still, not bad considering these train are usually packed.
