Hello all Just found forum and think Ive found the way to post after 5 goes, I am looking for some contact with past memories I served my time at Dumfries loco shed as a fitter/ turner/welder /miller, jack of all trades in those days, I was the last app before the beeching axe in Dumfries (67B) You had to serve 5 years then and in the fourth you were seconded to St Rollox for the year I was there in 1960 and stayed across from the works in Huntingdon Square with a couple of apprntices form Hurlford Owen McAllister and George McIver I was just wondering if there was any contacts still to the fore with similar memories ???
