Hello from Hertfordshire
I'll leave you all to work out my name (not hard to do).
I worked for British Railways in the drawing office at the Civil Engineers at Kings Cross in the mid fifties. I have always had an interest in railway stuff but have now started to construct a model railway in OO gauge, based (in my mind) in East Anglia in the, naturally, the mid fifties. 70005 |
Welcome to the Forum "John Milton". Look forward to news of your layout and reports on its progress (with photos?) Hopefully you will be able to comment on threads from your experience with BR.
Best wishes, John H-T. |

Hello John and welcome to the Railway Forum.

Hi John and welcome to the forum.
I'm very interested in your layout. I know what the route from KX to KL looks like as I learnt it a while ago. Be great to see it as it was in the 50's - no nasty overhead cables or single line sections in those days. ;) |
