Great to hear of positive progress at Oswestry. Last time I visited (about eight years back) it looked a bit of a mess. What's the position with the big ornate building that also occupies the site – once I believe the HQ of the Cambrian Railways, but not in society ownership and largely derelict?

Thanks for the link Luke. Looks like you are making good progress. Good to see the project really beginning to go somewhere.

Best wishes,

John H-T.

Looks great! I visited the station and museum last summer and was impressed by the size and style of the station building. The museum, while a bit dark and dusty, had some interesting items. The guy I spoke to there said that things were being held up by problems with another preservation group, hopefully this is now not the case and things can crack on. Very best of luck with it all!
