New scot rail !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Scotland’s newest and most advanced trains are arriving later this year.
From September 2010 a fleet of 38 eco-friendly ‘Class 380’ trains will begin running on ScotRail services between Glasgow Central and Ayrshire, Inverclyde and Renfrewshire; and between Edinburgh and North Berwick from March 2011. Offering better accessibility and improved passenger comfort, these will be the most advanced trains the country has ever seen. Across Scotland, the fleet will add more than 7,500 passenger seats to the Scottish rail network. Take a look at it here-- http://www.siemens.com/press/pool/de...-01_072dpi.jpg |
There's a nice pic of them being tested on the Wildenrath test track in Germany on The Railway Centre website http://www.therailwaycentre.com/Pict..._July2010.html

Looks the same as any other b****Y "unit"............Boring.:p
I think most modern traction looks the same and I find it difficult to tell one EMU class from another. PS I am not a spotter( I gave that up in 1981) Although I do still enjoy travelling by rail.(have senior citizens rail card). |
