Hello from Egham
 

Hi everyone, My name is Peter and I have just discovered this forum from the rear of "Steam Railway" magazine.I am now past retireing age but still very active. I used to be a spotter, but unfortunately I discovered girls about the time that steam was coming to an end which I have regretted all my life. I now spot as many steam movements as I can. I am very lucky to live in Egham Surrey where we have our fair share of steam movements throughout the year. I also like painting steam engines in oils on canvas.
I am looking forward to possibly seeing a Royal Scot heading the "Cathedrals Express" on Thursday to Bristol.
Hope to meet plenty of enthusiasts in the future.

Hi 62440Thank you for bringing it to my attention,I did mean Princess Royal and not royal scot, It's an age thing you know!! I am looking forward to seeing her in the morning, I have signed up with NATPRES so that I can get updated by Mobile phone.
