South African class 25nc

I have been engaged recently in a discussion about the South African class 25nc Loco.
The gauge is 3ft 6ins, such a narrow gauge for such a large engine.

Was this the standard gauge in "SA" ?

Also anyone know if there is any photos or video clips of Class 25nc number 3405 in South Africa ?

The standed gauge in South Africa and all railways up to and into the Congo is 3ft-6ins. I posted some video clips of Class 25nc and Class 25 Condencer on your other post last night as well as a site for other South African locos. See your 'Anyone fired or driven....... ' post.

Just type this in your browser :"south african railways steam locomotives". Quite a few sites come up, including You Tube videos. 3' 6" is still the gauge as far as I know.
