Hello

Hi
Im MendipMan319. I come from Glastonbury (UK) and obviosly has an interest in railways. I spend a lot of time in cornwall at my fathers so i have a lot of photos and videos from the area, not very much happens near glastonbury in terms of railways. I go to the Shepton & District MRS who specialise in modelling the Somerset & Dorset JR if you live in the area feel free to come down on a Tuesday or Thursday night about 7pm onwards till we want to go to the pub (find us at the East Somerset Railway, Cranmore in the big shed next to the model shop). I enjoy model engineering a lot (but do modelling because its cheaper), so i go to the Shepton Drifter Boat Club and the East Somerset Society of Model & Experimental Engineers who own the Bath & West Railway in 5" and 7 1/4" and on the 17+18th of april we have 2 public running days! feel free to pop along or even join. I am also soon starting volunteer work at the East Somerset Railway.

I own a n gauge model railway called Whissendine Junction, this is based in a small village in Rutland in the present day where there is a small not very well used passenger railway with a sprinkling of goods on it, but more interestingly there is a heritage railway! I am currently working on getting the signals and points to work off of a mini lever frame so i will post pictures after that.

Also for some of you (who have children) i am soon putting up for sale some Hornby Stuff from my childhood to fund my n gauge layout. I will be selling the Flying Scotsman set (with an extra coach) some old wagons, and a few buildings and a bridge.

thanks
