Looking for Advice
My Father was a great railway enthusiast and amassed a large collection of books on the subject. He took great care of these books and unfortunately since his death they have sat boxed up with me not knowing what to do with them.
Can anyone give me any advice on where maybe I could sell these books so other people can get pleasure from them? Anyone know of any second hand book shops that may be interested in them? Thanks in advance for any suggestions. x x x- |
Welcome to the Forum Joanne.
You are probably better with a specialist Railway Book seller. Nick Tozer is fairly near you (Huddersfield) see www.railwaybook.com email: [email protected] Hope this helps. Best wishes, John H-T. |
Hi John
Thats lovely. Thank you so much for taking the time to respond. I will contact the gentleman after i have made a list of the items we have. Its such a shame for them to be sat in boxes. Kind Regards and thank you again. Joanne. x |
Hi Joanne,
Welcome to the forum. All the best. |
When my brother in law passed away, he had about 200 railway books on all subjects, we donated them to Kirklees council, in Huddersfield.
No better place to share than at the Library. |
Joanne, good morning, welcome to the Forum.
Good luck with the books. 48111 |
