Hello from Grundisburgh Hall

Hello Everyone. I have a little bit of railway background. 1 Grandfather was stationmaster at Portland Other Grandfather & uncle were GWR drivers So hopefully I can qualify :) After a bit of help here please? (I'm a girl so do excuse me) We have Grundisburgh Hall name plate & No. 6977 What I would dearly like is a photo of this wonderful train. Warm regards |

6977 Grundisburgh Hall. Built November 1947. First shed allocation Old Oak Common. August 1950 shed allocation Bristol, Bath Road. March 1959 shed allocation Bristol, St. Philip's Marsh. Last shed allocation Westbury. Withdrawn December 1963. Scrapped at Bird's, Newport. Sorry can't help with the photo. |
