47489 seen travelling on a low loader going east on the M62, Saturday 6th March 2010. Anyone know its destination, it looked in a sorry state.

A report on wnxx says it was having it's bogies removed at Carnforth on the 5th, the remains of two other locos have recently left there for Booths scrapyard, Rotherham, so it has probably followed them.

Thanks for the info, i can't remember what bit of the M62 now but Rotherham would be feasable.

Further report on wnxx says 47489 arrived at Booths on the 8th.
