Well I am moving my layout. It is going to be bigger as well. Previously I had a branch line that was end to end with a short freight line roughly based on the Cromford and High peak railway at one end. As the collection of stock got bigger so too did the size of locomotive so I needed something new. My new plan is for a a four track mainline, a station based on Altrincham (ish) and one based on Manchester pic. A branch will come off at some point to let all locos to be used. All traditional DC so it will be a bit difficult.

I have two layouts a small exhibition MPD which has bee featured in the gallery. I purchased a large ex exhibition layout from a model railway club based on Woodford Hulse on the ex GC. I don't know why more people don't purchase ready built ex club layouts thay are usually well built with good scenics and track. Often clubs are forced to scrap them.

Western Region 70's-90's 'Backwater Road' mainline with China Clay sidings and concrete works too...progress has slow lately but all trackwork finished and ballasted a while back...

My layout has three Mainline loops and one Branch line loop. With the Main and Branch lines connected through a junction. (Which also acts as a good yard.)
