"Simplicity is the acme of design." However, I'm not suggesting that 60163 is a "simple" locomotive! The technology is just rather more robust I guess. So, perhaps a steam locomotive production line is not so crazy after all.

In the current (rather exceptional) circumstances, steam probably does work better than any other form of traction. Sadly it won't snow 365 days a year.

Not to take away from the moment which is really lovely and great publicity for Tornado and steam in general!

Great piece of action which should bring in more money to help pay for this great locomotive!

Bah! Humbug.........the Tornado hauled train couldn't have been very popular if they were able to offer the seats to 100 stranded passengers.:D
