Railway screech angers residents (BBC News)

People living near London's Victoria station say they are being disturbed by a regular loud screeching noise from passing trains.

More from BBC News...

As the screech was there before they moved in , did they not notice it when viewing the place? Did they have no other option but to take the flat they were offered? If a lot of prospective tenants had turned down the flats then the council might have been forced into action before now.

Bemused by humanity yet again,, 62440.

Fact of life on bendy railways but a bit of grease in the right places would work wonders - perhaps they dont have any vaseline to spare??

This guy must have gone to the toilet when they handed out the brains!

Tell the council to fix the heating. It is your legal right.

Simples !
