A temporary railway station opens to help reunite the flood-hit community of Workington in Cumbria.

Congratulations to all concerned for the early response and getting the job done so quickly. It rather begs the question as to why most jobs, often the most minor, on the railway seem to take an age.

They said on the radio this morning that at one point they had nearly 500 people on site assisting with the build :eek:
