New Bachman 04

I went to the Soar Valley Model Railway Club Exhibition in Loughborough today, and on the Club's own layout was a early sample of the forthcoming Bachmann class 04 2-8-0. Unpainted, but running, looking good, at first I thought it was a Kit built loco. The guys on the layout were very pleased with the running qualities of it and were singing it's praises to all and sundry.:cool:
Checked the Bachmann website later. Expect to pay about £125 for one.

Quality costs. If it was made in the UK it would probably cost about £250!

Bachmann prices compare favourably with Hornby's.
