Hi From New England
 

Good Day: I am a full time railroader working as an Engineer (Driver). I am pursuing a growing interest in the railways of the British Isles. I sure have lots of questions, especially regarding terminology and nomenclature.

Luckily I am an "escapee" of a Connex company and now work for the New England Central Railroad which runs from New London, Connecticut at tidewater to the international border at Saint Albans, Vermont near Montreal.

I hope you will indulge my very basic questions, and invite anyone to question me about US or Canadian railway operations.
