Hi!
Hi,
I am a new member, and a long time railway modeller now working in the Garden in 45mm gauge (what is known as G scale, but really ought to be known as Gn3 = 15mm to the foot) with an early (1880's) Colorado Narrow Gauge layout that virtually needs everything to be scratch built (Bachmann Moguls and 4 4 0 (& accucraft locos, excepted!)! The thought of joining came from the latest issue of the magazine 'Steam Railway', with is superb coverage of 6229, which I think looks magnificent! That keeps me busy as I am retired, at the moment a small bakery is being built - well it had to be done as I had previously built a small 'bakers van' so then the shop (which is 14" x 9"), had to be made! I have a equally long time preference for tthe Midland Railway, but others get a 'look in' at times Yours Peter. |
Welcome to the forum Peter from a staunch LNER man.
