Crash sparks new rail plea
 

There is a Joker in Wisbech who is convinced that IF the local railway line was re-opened for commuter use, the town would no longer become gridlocked whenever there is a bad accident in the area. If there was a commuter line and an accident occured causing gridlock throughout, How would people get to the station? Nearby Kings Lynn and March have stations, yet both towns are gridlocked 6 days a week, the same as any other town.

Stratigically placed stations.

If you have an accident at point X, and stations at point A and point Z on either side, then people at either side can make use of the railway to get past point X.

It'd keep things moving. Either way, moving out of the car and onto rail is not a bad thing.
