Hello

hi,
my favorite diesal loco's got to be the class 50,but personal favorite class 50, 50015 'VALIANT' calum mclean,[email protected] |
i meant [email protected], claum mclean,14
|
Well, for me it's got to be D832, D5054, 40145 and 50015. Sorry, but there's no way I could choose between them, they're all excellent engines.
|
Its got to be 50026 Indomitable or a close second D1013 Western Ranger, (and of course my trusty 6678).
Regards |
I don't usually get very close (emotionally) to locos. But if there was one I particularly liked it would be number 43185 'Great western' because:
1. I have a hornby model of the same engine 2. It was the flagship (or flagtrain) of the FGW fleet. I used to admire FGW before they went all dull and dim purple. |
to tell the truth i have never liked 'first great western' they are to showy off'y and they should of lost there franchise because the same happen to connex when they were doing the same thing as fgw, with the dirty, old, late trains'.

personally my favorite diesal is the class 50,(50015 valiant)because of the history behind them from BR blue to nse livery.but i think the class 43 hst is the most iconic british train ever to be made.
