Hello

Hi there.
I’ve just reacquainted myself with the joys, and woes, of trainspotting after a 15 odd year layoff. I still kept buying the Combined Volume/Platform 5 book throughout though. I started in 1979 thanks to Peter Perves. I’m well and truly a Southern man and I’m looking forward to Eastleigh on May 23rd. (I have to say I really miss the EPBs, SUBs, CEPs etc.) I’m not looking forward to updating my loco shed book. Mind you I bet most of the loco/EMU in my 1994 book have been withdrawn!

Howdi Armitage. If you wait long enough at Beckenham Junction you might recognise a splendid 319 from the 1980's passing through.

Though you mind find the FCC 'bright pink & rainbow' livery to be a litttle harsh on your eyes. ;)

Good old Beckenham Junction. Many a Saturday afternoon spent watching the MLV/CEP/73s going down to Margate whilst my folks went shopping. And the joy of travelling from Beckenham Jct to New Beckenham when there was a rail strike on. I even remeber the coal yard where Waitrose now is.
