Good to see you on here Mr B, unfortunately I don't think I'll be able to make Long Marston, however I hope it is a success. Get some shots in too! :)

Jack
Do you have any idea what engines (specific numbers if you have them) will be hauling trains round the loop. I have heard Class 08 and Class 20 but would like specific numbers if possible.
Regards
Brillo

The plan is to use, Andrew Goodman's J94, 08927 and we are currently looking out for another engine as the owner of the previous one has made the loco unavailable due to repairs.

Thank you for the welcome :D

Storage space is needed for a two car Class 107 Diesel Multiple Unit set

This message sent to http://finance.groups.yahoo.com/group/1st-gen/ yesterday by [email protected]

All,

Regrettably it seems we shall have to scrap out 107 vehicles 51993 and 52012 since the Yorkshire Dales Railway want us to move the vehicles asap and all attempts to find a new home have so far proved fruitless.

If you can offer the vehicles a home please contact me at [email protected]
within the next 7 days.

Alternatively, if you wish to buy these vehicles rather than offer them a home
the minimum asking price is scrap value of £8,000. You would need to have a home and we would want to dispose of both vehicles together, preferably for
preservation rather than scrap.

Please no requests for spares.

Regards

Mike Froud
