New Here. Hello!

Hello trainspotters. I'm a new member an I just want to say hello to everyone. Compared to everyone else I probably seem to know very little about trains, true, I only like to find out lots obout british trains, but I am only 13;) . This brings me to say are there any other trainspotters out there who are at least within 10 years of me? I bet there are. They'll just have to find this thread. I'm afraid i'm on my own at the moment:( , with sports being the big thing, I usually just end up in my little corner. But I hope that's going to change. I won't go on though. I don't like reading long posts so it's in my interests not to write one.

:D :D

Hope to be hearing from u lot soon.

Hello and welcome to the forum ECML43. I'm not a spotter myself (no interest in the modern network personally) but I'm one of several younger members on this forum, so you're not alone. And on the preserved railway where I volunteer we've got a few volunteers who are about your age too.

Welcome to the Forum ECML43. Hope you enjoy the Forum and look forward to details of your "spotting trips.

Do my spotting through a camera lens!

Best wishes,

Welcome to the forum ECML43!

I'm just over your 10-years-around-me, what with being 24. Do I rightly assume that since you have 43 in your name you principally like HSTs? If so, you and I will get on like a house on fire!:D

Welcome to the forum. Hope you find the others you're looking for, but don't worry about the age on here too much - we're all here for the trains!

Regards
Tony (30-something!)

I am 16, so am well within your 10 years. I'm not a spotter of the modern stuff, only the steamers, volunteer for a few steam gruops etc...
Enjoy the forum.

Hello ECML43 and welcome to the Railway Forum. As others have said, age is not a problem, we are all here for the love of railways.
