Cleethorpes?

Greetings to all, I grew up in Cleethorpes in the 50's and have fond memories of dozens of trains per day bringing "daytrippers" from Sheffield,Leeds etc. and I wondered if anyone has any photos of steam trains at Cleethorpes?

Welcome to the Forum Cthuludave. Look forward to your posts.

Sorry I don't have any photos of trains at Cleethorpes. I do remember the Cleethorpes trains at Birmingham New Street during the mid to late 1950's.

Best wishes,

John H-T.

There must be a photo of Oliver Cromwell at Cleethorpes on Saturday 28 Feb around somewhere. A picture of the engine passing eitherHuntingdon or St Neots appeard in the local paper (Hunts Post) and it seems that there are more images to be found on www.huntspost24.co.uk but I have not looked myself to see what is there since I only just saw the address but maybe there is one from Cleethorpes as well.

What a waste of time that search was,
Four photos 2 of which seemed to be enlargements of another and all covered in coloured rings. Took ages to work out that I had to search for a photo with the ID Oliver Cromwell. Apologies to all fior a wild goose chase.
