Class 323
 

Hello,

I am a new subscriber to the forums.

I must say that I took a trip on a Class 323 yesterday from New Street and was on 323205, it appears that they have had a new lighting system fitted, it makes the train look like new. I guess that this is LED Illumination, there was no need for the yellow looking diffuser which was on the 3 car train coupled with the 323205.

Hi Paul. Welcome aboard !

Next time I go to B'Ham ( or Crewe ) I'll have a word with one of the drivers of these units and see if they know anything about this.

As for the lighting, not sure exactly what it would be or if any different to what the pre-refurbished condition was. But I do like it more on the refurbished 323s, much lighter feel.
