Hello (an introduction)
 

Hello everybody,

I've heard of this forum only today when I got the first issue of my brand new subscription to 'Railways illustrated' magazine and there was a big huge page dedicated to this forum.

Being interested as I am in railways all over the world I'm happy to learn and share knowledge about trains (well, I'm not an expert, but since I was a child I was a big fan of trains), I thought it would be interesting to join this community. I find the interest that lots of people have in railways in the UK is amazing; the heritage train preservation in there seems to be a big thing and I really love that.

I'm reading now 'Fire & steam'; I guess that helped me a bit too...

So, a bit like Manuel in 'Fawlty towers' (I'm from Madrid but I live in Barcelona), excuse me if I make some mistakes writing in English, please :)
