A rail group vows to save British jobs by fighting the government's decision to hand a £7.5bn contract for trains to a Japanese firm.

Why should we have to keep having trains made abroad? With the Mini makers being sacked at an hours notice yesterday, they could re-employ them to start building trains instead, surely?
