Pulman Coaches

I'm not sure if this the the correct place to post this, or if it is of interest to anyone.

When traveling from Fenchurch Street to Barking, as I was yesterday, I try to keep an eye out for anything interesting in the East Ham shed.

On the far right track, the rest of the shed was pretty empty, there were a number of modernish looking (can you tell I'm new to this) coaches in the blue and white livery with 'Pulman' in white on the side. Unfortunately, I couldn't get my phone out quick enough to get a picture.

It brought back memories of seeing the old Blue Pulman at Leicester Station when I was a kid.

What would they be doing in a c2c depot and what do they do normally?

i think that they have been based at East Ham depot for a while now, they are stored at the depot when not in use on charters.

Correct, the stock is stabled there and under the ownership of Cotswold Rail. It used to be part of a larger train, which was run by Fragonset Merlin Rail, untill they went bust.
