hi to everyone on the forum let me introduce myself
my name is frank and i worked on the railway for almost 30 years starting as a lowly railman in 1977 before transfering to the footplate at holbeck in 1978
i became a driver in 1987 at norwich.
i returned north in 1995 to york in the dying days of B.R. and worked for mtl and arriva before gpoing to freightliner heavy haul in 2001.
i had quite a route and traction knowledge including 66s and 86s and signing routes to the far north of england and into east anglia.
i hope i can be of some assistance to members and hopefully meetr some old friends along the way
