I understood that at one time, the railways were sending staff to various schools to give the kids Safety Talks on the dangers of playing near, or on the railway lines, but they still ignore the warnings, as I did as a kid, I wasn't innocent.

Sadly in this day and age, you can warn kids all you like, they will carry on and do what they want to do, even if it means taking short-cuts to get home. Just over a year ago, two young lads missed their last train home, so walked the track, only to get hit by a train it was said they never heard, anymore than the poor driver saw them in the dark.

True- you'll never stop it. I dealt with quite a few consequences of sheer stupidity, mindless trespassing resulting in death and sadly the people to whom life meant nothing.
