Another addict who spotted the Railways Illustrated advert. Having been born with the Main Birmingham New Street to Wolverhampton line at the bottom of the garden, I have been a rail enthusiast virtually all of my life. Now semi retired, I am living on the edge of the New Forest and combine walking the dogs on the Forest with watching the 444s,450s, 220s, 221s and the odd 66 rush through. Southampton and Eastleigh tend to be my boundaries now, but manage the odd railtour now and then.
