My name is David Beardmore, I'm 39 and I live in Cambridge. I've been interested in Trains and railways for as long as I can remember. I am still interested in the main line scene today, but I find the omnipresence of Class 66s and units somewhat tiring after a while. I like the "Heritage" scene more interesting and actively go to Diesel galas wherever and whenever I can. I have a small number of shares in Stratford47 group, and I try to help when I can, but that isn't often.
