Sapphire & Steel

First off, does anyone remember this series from the late 70s/ early 80s that came long before PSI and Special Unit.
It had Joanna Lumley & David McCallum investigating/clearing up supernaturual mysteries in the UK.

Now there was one epsiode where they were called in to rid a disused and haunted railway station, out in the middle of nowhere, of First World War soldiers. And so of course my question is, what railway station was used for this? Because it clearly wasn't a set. The waiting rooms and platforms felt vintage even when watching it in the 80s.

Yea, me too, especially becasue the ghosts were so nasty. But I loved it because it was so atmospheric and so scary.

This programme was before my time, but I've done a bit of research, and it seems that it was a set.

Thanks for the research and the link Adam. That would seem to clear it up. And as such I can only say that the set builders did a wonderful job on that rlwy stn.
