Hello all
 

A quick intro from a new member,

I have been a steam enthusiast all my life.

Qualified mechanical design engineer, by proffesion, who has been lucky enough to have worked on the design of working miniature steam locos as well.

Have built several locos of the years in the smaller scales, and was a volunteer driver on the Great Whipsnade Railway in the past, now am involved with the Stapleford Miniature Railway.

Always an LMS/Midland fan am now supporting the new build Patriot group.

I am also supporting the Patriot project and hope to be involved in the Steam and Steel Gala at Llangollen next April when the frames hopefully will be on dispay.
