Swedish local railway from the drivers view
 

Hello!

I thought I could start my "career" here by posting a video showing the Railway Saltsjöbanan in Stockholm.
It was built in 1893 and electrified in 1913.
1976 it got new trains, modified underground cars.

Here is a little video showing the branch between Solsidan and Igelboda in the eastern suburbs of Stockholm. Or maybe we can call it the inner achipelago?

Hej Bo, I'm in Stcokholm quite often with work. And in May I wanted to go out to the end of the line but didn't have time. I have images in my head of it finishing at a sea spa or seaside resort as it did in the olden days. But I bet the terminus is in a built up area nowadays like everthing else.

Yes, in Saltsjöbaden there is a outdoor bath (and you're allowed to be nude there).
And you're right about the terminus. It's a lot of houses there. But along the branch line they haven't built so much. Yet.
