Hello

Hello everyone.
I'm Bob from County Durham.
I suppose I was a typical trainspotter in the 60s, and travelled all over the country, logging locos, but just what started me off, I can't remember at all, "old age memory loss" LOL.
When I started work, I sort of lost interest in trains, because I then had a lot more studying to do to gain my qualifications, and I also got into photography as a serious hobby, for the first time. Then last year when I was courting a young woman, she bought herself a digital SLR, and that rekindled my interest in photography, as a hobby that I thought we could share. Despite us parting, I have kept my interest in photography, and recently, while searching for suitable subjects to shoot, have also had my interest in railways rekindled.
One thing I'd like to do, if time, and more importantly money (I say money because I'm retired), allow, is to visit all the preserved railways and related museums around the UK.
Some of my photographs (the ones I think are half decent LOL) can be seen at --http://holzernes-herz.deviantart.com/
