Hello from North Yorkshire
Hello everyone
I have been interested in railways for many years and now that I am retired I will be able to spend more time with both real trains and model railways My interest in trains was started by my grandfather (family nickname Tish) who was a fireman and driver out of Malton North Yorks shed between 1900 and 1945 He regularly drove along what is now the north yorkshire moors railway I have recently become a volunteer Traveling Ticket Inspector on the NYMR and I amj looking forward to reading the interesting threads on this forum Regards Tish |

Spent 12 very happy years living in various parts of North Yorkshire. One of my favourite counties. Try to get up to the NYMR several times a year. Look forward to your posts. Best wishes, John H-T. |

Hi Tish and welcome. I am also into model railways and have a 'N' gauge layout as well as a lot of rolling stock for my new project, A 00 layout. Post some photos of your model railway please as I enjoy looking at model layouts.
