Rainfall blamed for rail repairs (BBC News)

Rail chiefs say climate change means they must spend £8m reinforcing a railway embankment.

Nope....the wrong sort of previous asset investment and maintenance.

Railways dont last for ever. Especially embankments and cuttings.
