Fenny Compton and the former SMJ

Gentlemen

Being very interested in the Stratford Upon Avon & Midland Junction Railway (go to www.smjr.info) I recently took a trip to Fenny Compton. Its great to see metal on a former SMJ line.

Can anyone tell me more about current workings over this stretch of line that runs to Kineton Camp? Has anyone got any pictures of trains on that section?

Can anyone tell me anything about the very short-lived Northend Halt on that was on this section?

Go and have a look at my site. Any SMJ interests me, I can't know all about it - tell me

It certainly was short-lived wasn't it? Just over five years by my reckoning.

Looks a fascinating site! When I get some time over the weekend I shall settle for a good read!

Hi Andy,
Thats very good. Does'nt it show you that a stranger passing by would never know that a railway had been there. We should always have a camera, the world changes daily.
Paul.

Very interesting stuff. There are some amazing bits of railway lines left and others totally obliterated. Fascinating subject, thanks for the posting.
