Looks like the answer to some of our railway problems. A cat would probably do a better job for 1st GWR than the present management

A friend sent me this .........

The WHR/FR also has a station cat at Porthmadog, named Lili Du. She, being a female feline multi-tasks and so also acts for the civil engineering dept, ticket-office supervision, vermin control, etc., as well as providing on train support and, as with all multi-tasking, just gets more things wrong, so needs a special train to return her to Porthmadoc at night when found wandering around Minfordd or Boston Lodge having misjudged the last train back!

We've got a few cats in the East Lancs Diesel Department, but none in the stations. I believe Oxford Road Station still has some cats though.
