Hello Davek welcome to the forum I dont know to much about DCC seems everyone you ask gives a different version about installation. What everyone agrees on is that the system runs on 2 wires and is far superior to the old DC system. As for pointwork I buy the production stuff from the shops and lay it. It goes great thats the main point. Anyway enjoy the site there are plenty of modellers on board who can help you.
