My understanding (and it could be wrong) is that it will be used when they get around to redeveloping waterloo. Personnally I think they should rip it down, I mean in a building designed to last 15 years or more they replaced the roof panels within ten because they were cracking.
You might be able to tell I dislike many of the newer buildings around these days (see the st. pancras thread).
There is direct access to the mainline (I don't know where) because the EPS 37's could regularly be found at Clapham Junction with translator vehicles. never saw a 73 there though!!
