Will there be an inquiry into the reasons for this accident that will be as searching as those for rail accidents?
Personally I think not as road accidents are commonplace and do not make headlines nor will the managenent be pursued in respect to the event either.

And if they actually get round round to endorsing the bus driver's licence, it'll clear off after a few years. Whereas if a train driver was given an incident, it would stay like a millstone round his neck for the rest of his career.

Did someone suggest double standards ?

I presume that the road where the accident happened will be closed for the next week or so, forcing travellers to take the alternative train service?
