Inmates learn rail repair skills (BBC News)
 
A training course for prisoners to gain qualifications in repairing railways is set up in a Nottinghamshire jail.

I wonder how many of them were originally banged up for nicking things off the railways in the first place? They may have more "trackside experience" than many a regular worker!

But if some of them want to work and turn over a new leaf then good for them.
