Later this year, railway enthusiast Ian Yeowart hopes to successfully launch a new railway company, Grand Central, from scratch. Fulfilling his dream has been a long and difficult process.

Good luck to him. I wonder how he'll cope with the 'Safety Talliban' and all the beaurocratic red tape that the modern railway entails :rolleyes:

Just watched the programme and it was very interesting. 43067 looked well in the new company logo, but I think they still have a long way to go. Good luck to Grand Central.

I hope that he has a few friendly 'Thunderbird' suppliers because I cant see GNER giving him a hand when his motive power throws a wobbly
