A campaign targeting people who assault railway staff expands out of London and into major south-east rail hubs.

Well I'm glad that they're widening the campaign area. We've all had to lug the DNA kits around in our bags for quite some time now.

And of course unless the person carrying out the attack has already had their DNA put on record it's a rather fruitless task, but maybe it'll serve as a deterrent. I've only been spat on once, but it was a thoroughly unpleasant experience. If the drunken little s*** had done it to me at a time when I wasn't at work he'd have woken up with my boot down his throat.
