Midland Meridian
Blagged a ride in the cab of a Midland Meridian today....Wow.
It was the opposite of every Multiple Unit I've ever been in; Roomy, quiet, comfortable - and the train took off like a rocket. After all the discussions about how crude and uncomfortable modern cabs are it's really changed my attitude to current train manufacture - I WANT ONE :D |
I think I asked someone a similar question once before.
So when you get one, what colour will you paint it? What will be "Foghut Mainline" livery be? Tastefull and restrained, or psychadelic? |

 Yes, so many train liveries are now so garish that the least painful part of the whole livery is the yellow front.
|
I'd like to see the Thameslink colours too.

I agree that the 222s look good from the exterior and interior, they have big comfy seats and an overall great atmosphere.
