Rail lift campaigner gets stuck (BBC News)

A disabled woman is stranded in a railway station lift put in after years campaigning for better access.

A not uncommon occurrance sadly...which is the very reason why traincrew at my TOC are forbidden from taking the lift, just in case it gets stuck and a train should be delayed. Still maybe the stair walking makes up a bit for the sedentary lifestyle.

My TOC have a similar policy about traincrew being forbidden from using the lift
